Instructions

  1. Brown the beef in a large pot. Drain excess fat.

  2. Add onions and garlic, cook until soft.

  3. Add all beans, tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.

  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a low simmer.

  5. Simmer 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. Add water if it gets too thick.

  6. Serve with sour cream, cheese, and crusty bread (try the focaccia!).
